Mark your calendars! The Pacifica City Council Candidates Forum, focused on environmental issues in our community, will be held Wednesday, October 8. The proceedings will start at 7:00 pm and be held at the Pacifica City Council Chambers on Beach Boulevard. Cindy Abbott will moderate the discussion.

The forum will give the candidates an opportunity to express their vision on a number of environmental issues that affect our community, including sea level rise, the proposed widening of Highway One, and implementation of Pacifica’s Climate Action Plan. In addition, candidates will be invited to fill out an online survey with questions submitted by several of Pacifica’s environmental organizations. Their answers will be posted on the PEF website for the public. The forum will be taped and aired by PCT.
